Breaking News: Sara Evan’s “Slow Me Down” Album Artwork & Track Listing

Sara Evan’s is all set to return to the music scene with her seventh studio album, “Slow Me Down” on March 24th, 2014. A truly collaborative effort, Evan’s worked with a number of amazing songwriters and musicians throughout the making of the new album. If the single of the same name is any indication, she’s taking a step in a slightly new direction, with full throttle instrumentation, poweful vocals, and a hint more pop than country. There’s a massive amount of talent on this album with Nashville songwriters Dave Berg, Karyn Rochelle and Sara Buxton; as well as a cover of a Gavin Degraw song (“Not Over You” in which he also does background vocals) and a duet with Isaac Slade of The Fray. Even Vince Gill contributed to the track “Better Off,” making for a truly well rounded album that’s sure to impress.

Of the album, Evans says, “Making ‘Slow Me Down’ has been a truly amazing experience. I had the chance to co-write with some of my favorite writers, work with Mark and some truly incredible musicians — and now hearing what we created gives me such an incredible sense of pride. Having Isaac, Gavin and Vince sing with me was an amazing experience and they took those songs to another level. I honestly have never been more excited to have everyone hear one of my albums. I cannot wait to share it with everyone.”

The track-listing for Slow Me Down is as follows:
