LUCY HALE is set to release he debut country album, Road Between, on June 3rd through DMG Nashville/Bigger Picture Group. It’s been a pretty great year so far for Lucy, her debut single “You Should Good To Me” is steadily climbing the country charts and gaining attention from publications like Billboard, Country Weekly, and Rolling Stone. Her bright personality and excitement over the album has not gone unnoticed, in fact, I think her respect for the genre and those that came before her have all of us ushering her in the door with open arms.
“This has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl singing Faith Hill and Shania Twain songs into my hairbrush in the mirror,” reveals Lucy. “It was both exciting and scary for me to be so vulnerable making this album, and it’s turned out to be something genuinely me and something I’m really proud to share.”
The album release date is huge news, especially for those of us who have been anticipating the album since the moment she signed her deal, but to add a cherry on top of that Lucy will be making her Grand Ole Opry debut this Friday, February 21st. We all know what a huge deal this is for any artist and we wish her the best of luck (in fact, I more than wish I could be there).
