I featured Natalie Stovall & The Drive’s “Baby Come On With It” on a hump day playlist just last week, but it was officially released to country radio this morning! This high energy, storm of instrumentation, ass kicking song is everything you need to keep this Monday going strong. It’s a straight shot of energy from beginning to end, with Natalie’s bluesy voice belting over the slamming beat and fiddle shredding solos, showcasing the wide breadth of talent that beats beneath this band. The song, written by Chris Destefano, Jerry Flowers, and Bobby Hamrick and produced by Grammy Award Winner Paul Worley (The Band Perry, Dixie Chicks, Lady Antebellum), will no doubt find it’s way up the charts in record time.
With over 200 shows under their belt last year and talent that dates back to their youth, these musicians come together to form a rocking, whirlwind wall of sound that just doesn’t stop. Natalie has been playing and performing since she was 12, everywhere from the Opry stage to the White House, she amassed wide recognition as a force to be reckoned with. It’s about time that force be fully seen! The Drive includes drummer James Bavendam from Seattle, Chile’s Miguel Cancino on guitar, Zach Morse from Cheyenne, Wyoming on bass and vocals and Redding, California guitarist and vocalist Joel Dormer.
