I can hardly remember the days when Taylor Swift was country enough to rock cowboy boots. She practically started the whole sundress and cowboy boot trend back when her self-tilted debut album came out in 2006. Her style kicked off a whole era in which you couldn’t attend a single country music event without seeing tweens in who looked like carbon copies of the pop star (no matter what the time of year was). It’s funny to look back and see how much she’s changed over the years. Her style has definitely matured and her music has more than drifted away from the country roots it began with.
I stumbled across this video of her performing Teardrops On My Guitar on TRL and couldn’t believe the transformation (what happen to her curls?!). It’s hard to believe the Taylor we see now has anything to do with the Taylor in this video. They grow up so fast!
