Presented by MGM Resorts International and Live Nation, Las Vegas is throwing their first Country Music Festival, Route 91 Harvest, from October 3rd-5th. The three day festival will feature artists from all over the map of the country genre, performing right in the heart of the strip on Las Vegas Boulevard. Hot off the success of the yearly ACM Awards and other country music events, Vegas is welcoming the genre with open arms by giving it it’s own weekend to celebrate in Sin City.
The festivals first year line-up includes superstars Jason Aldean, Dwight Yoakam, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, and Dierks Bentley; just to name a few. Not to mention stars from the hit ABC television show, Nashville, and up-and-coming Nashville stars that are competing to show everyone what they’ve got on the Nashville stage.
Three day passes start at $169 and hotel packages will be available as well, with MGM allowing festival goers to take advantage of discounted rates, making it easy for attendees to round out their party weekend. Tickets and packages are set to go on sale Friday, August 1st at 10AM.
Chris Baldizan, senior vice president of entertainment for MGM Resorts International, said, “It’s exciting to see the Route 91 Harvest Festival come to fruition. With an amazing lineup of talent over three days, our guests will experience country music at a unique, one-of-a-kind venue right on the Strip. It’s great to have a partner like Live Nation who shares our passion and vision for entertainment.” Via Las Vegas Sun
