It’s true! I’ve been offered an amazing opportunity that finally allows me to get back to Nashville, and this time, for good! If you’ve been reading along for a while you may have noticed some subtle changes over the past few months as we moved away from being a California based blog. And that was intentional, as I was planning on making the move to Nashville in the next few years and wanted the blog to be able to change and grow with me. Well, the move came a lot sooner than expected, and I’ve been blessed with so much support and opportunity from all the people in my life.
How will this affect the blog? While I get ready to jet off across the country over the next few weeks, there may be a lack of updates. My official move-in date in Nashville is November 30th, so I’m quit literally running around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get my life in order. Finishing up some work here, looking for apartments, and selling literally everything I own.
But more than that, I’m looking at this life in Nashville as a fresh start. For me, it’s an opportunity to dive deep into the culture and lifestyle of country music, and more than that, Nashville itself. This has been a dream of mine for so long that I really want to integrate the passion I have for the city into this site just as much as the passion I have for the music that is homed there. So, you might see some shifts over the next few months that allow this to be more of a lifestyle blog. It will still 100% be focused on music and the way it affects my life, your life, and all of our lives. But, the energy of Nashville is so electric that I want to be able to share every little piece of my journey as a transplant with you. From moving, to exploring, to finally settling in and hopefully becoming an expert on Nashville and it’s country music scene.
I’ve always wanted this blog to be about discovery. Discovery of new artists, new places, new everything. And I feel like as I set out on this new adventure, I’m going to be d
oing a lot of discovery, and I’d love to share that with you if that’s okay? I will have so much opportunity to run out and discover my favorite, unknown new country artist at the plethora of venues in the city, and I’m so excited to be able to share each and every one of them with you.
Thanks for making this place somewhere I consistently want to return to. It’s not a huge site by any means, but I certainly do love this little corner of the internet and all of you who follow along. Here’s to many more adventures! And if you’re ever in Nashville, let me know!
