One of my favorite stages at CMA Fest this year was most definitely the Music City stage. Not only was it indoors (which thankfully meant it was air conditioned), but it seemed to be the only stage that was really focused on playing artists without any radio play or previous major press behind them. On Thursday, June 9th one of Nashville’s best up-and-comers, Hailey Whitters, took the Music City Stage. The set was short but sweet, and included songs off her debut album, Black Sheep. Which happen to be one of my favorite albums of 2015, so I made sure to run over and catch some of her set. As usual, she didn’t disappoint, bringing all the spunk and honesty to the crowd that she always does.
As one of my favorite new artists, I was really excited to see Whitters back at CMA Fest this year, and hope that some of the audience fell as in love with her music as I did on my first listen. Check out some of my photos below!
