When the Muddy Magnolias took the stage at Americana Fest you knew instantly why the buzz was real. Their incredible dynamic and powerful energy filled the room. From the vocals to the melodies, the talent in the air was palatable. Combining elements of blues, jazz, and folk they create a truly one of a kind sound.
Muddy Magnolias are Kallie North and Jessy Wilson. Each with their own distinctive and unique background. They were brought together in Nashville through improbable circumstances and immediately forged an unlikely friendship and musical partnership. Their debut album Broken People is featured as one of The New York Times’ “10 Fall Pop and Jazz Albums (and One Festival) You Shouldn’t Miss.”
The highly anticipated album will be released October 14 on Third Generation Records and is now available for pre-order. Check out photos of their incredible Americana Fest performance below!
